Franz Peindl

Franz Peindl

Franz Peindl works part-time at Peindl Renault in hartberg, Austria. But his real focus is music!

Peindl has many enjoyable works to his credit. Perhaps the best known so far is the musical "What is Love", performed in Harbterg in 2007. In 2009 I (Dwight) did a rearrangement of the musical numbers for the vocal quartet Windlicht with piano accompaniment. A fine concert featuring those songs and more was given in early summer in the Rittersaal of Schloss Hartberg.

Peindl's current endeavor is the Friedensmesse, or "Mass for Peace", which has just been arranged for 4 voices (one piece with additional Tenor solo), guitar and piano (arr. Dwight Stone). This mass will be performed in Hartberg and surrounding area early this summer, 2010.

Yes We Can (SATB, pfte arr. Stone) was written for Windlicht at the time of Obama's run for President in 2008. A kicking-fun piece with jazz-choir feel & harmonies.
