Ed Marciciak recently retired after 36 years of teaching English, Drama, and Music in School district 21 in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. He has directed and produced over 100 productions. Each year he directed: an evening of one act plays, a variety show, and an annual spring musical showcasing Broadway hits. Ed has also acted as musical director for many shows. He has also written choral works for teen choruses.

Composing religious choral works is his new love. His hobbies include: travel, hiking, bicycling, and camping. He lives in Niles, Illinois, with his wife JoAnn.

Ed debuted in 2007 with Pegasus Pacific Music with his Kyrie for SATB Chorus and Piano. Since then Ed has continue to contribute new pieces every month or so; his latest contribution is The Lord is My Light for SATB Chorus and Organ, 2010.
